Vermont Information Technology Leaders (VITL)
Anne was contracted to analyze the existing VITL website from the perspective of design, information architecture, and user experience. From this she was hired to redesign the site and to use a responsive approach for multiple devices and view ports.
SHARE Willard Beach
Residents of South Portland formed a Political Action Committee in order to fight a referendum to ban dogs from a public beach. Anne was responsible for the logo design, print materials, and web site. The goal is to communicate the sense of community and stewardship of public land that the dog owners bring to the beach.
Sunward Solar Hot Water Systems
Sunward was a division of Country Home Products, Inc. The original home page was cluttered, static, and too technical. The marketing manager wanted to put a human face on the brand. Anne implemented a jQuery slideshow that rotates between several photographs of homeowners who rave about their Sunward hot water panels.
Evolution Physical Therapy & Yoga
Evolution opened its doors in 2006 as the only center in the Burlington, Vermont area to combine a physical therapy practice with a yoga studio.
American Meadows (Spring Landing Page)
Having recently done a branding update, American Meadows needed to incorporate some of the new look into select pages on their website. This is a proposed design for a new landing page for Spring flowers.
WordPress Customization - Chris Bernard, Writer
Writer Chris Bernard needed a website to promote the publication of his book, "Chasing Alaska." Chris selected a starter theme, and Anne modified it to suit Chris's needs.
Portland Ovations
Portland's premier performing arts presenter underwent a name change and re-branding. This project involved working with designer Andrew Shuttleworth to plan the transition strategy, learning the back end of the Expression Engine content management system, writing documentation, and training the in-house content contributor to load the 2009-10 season information.
Advantage Pest Control, Inc.
This client needed a site they could update themselves, so it was built using WordPress. They wanted to emphasize their "green" practices, and to have a place to put seasonal specials, a tip of the month, and other news items. Their primary goal was to get visitors to call for an appointment.
Blue Map Mobile Website
As part of a campaign to increase their audience by providing a downloadable app listing Vermont tourist attractions and events, Blue Map commissioned Anne to optimize the home page of their website for mobile devices. The design and illustrations were provided by the client.
Broadfoot & Associates
This law firm wanted a simple and elegant site to reflect the contemporary character of their practice. Photos of the sun-drenched interior of the office, highlighting the modern furniture and art, set them apart from the typical dark wood, leather, and men's club look of conventional firms. This, combined with the lean lines of their logo, creates a sleek, professional look.
Fletcher Allen Health Care
Fletcher Allen is Vermont's largest community hospital and academic medical center, in alliance with the University of Vermont College of Medicine. It serves approximately 150,000 people in the region, and is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the state.
Fletcher Allen Health Care: Intranet
Fletcher Allen is the third largest employer in the state of Vermont, with over six thousand employees. The intranet site serves to disseminate information to a large variety of audiences within the organization.
